Lavasa, Part 4

We took a look at one of the extremely suburban-y looking sample homes in Lavasa. This house is in the first of the five towns being built, known as Dasve. The town already has an operational hospital, despite the fact that very few people live here yet. A convention center is also under construction. It reminded me of a countrified version of Levittown.

As you can see, the grass around the house was not growing naturally. The streets had not yet been paved.

Quite a view.

Despite all their claims, it was kind of hard to imagine this development being all that "eco-friendly" given the size of the houses, but I have no proof otherwise. There was apparently an extensive bus service already available in parts of Lavasa.
