This is Dasve, the first of the five towns being built at Lavasa. The river, dry until the monsoons, runs through it which empties out into the lake.

It is built along the lake, which you can see in the distance. According to the brochure,
"The key focus of Dasve besides being the primary residential space at Lavasa is to establish reputed educational, tourism and hospitality institutions."
It was more or less empty, though all the amenities were open (there was even a Subway fast food chain.)
