Family Photos

One of the perks of going to a place with a high concentration of family members is the inevitable treasure trove of old photographs. The photo above is my grandparents in the Prabhat Apartment building, 4th floor, circa late 1960's.

Also Prabhat, the same evening as the photo above. My grandmother, her sister (right) and her friend (middle) being funny.

That same evening (I think it was a birthday party for one of the kids), my great grandmother and uncle.

My mother making a face, and her brother looking solemn.

This photo of my grandmother is from a different set of almost a hundred smaller photographs, mostly of her. This was taken a few years earlier than all the above images.
