I visited the Taj Mahal, which is very beautiful. If you don't know what that is, you can read about it here.
The nearby Oberoi hotel (not where I stayed, unfortunately) has an amazing view of the Taj. Every room faces in its direction to capitalize on the location.
It's a photographers/tourists paradise, and the experience is heavily affected by this. This is the view when you first enter; there's a crush of people because of how many tourists (myself included) stop to take photographs, or just stare. The emphasis on symmetry makes every view seem like a good place to take a photograph.
Each pillar leans slightly away, so that in case they fall, they fall away.
